MACY’S HAS A LOYALTY REWARDS PROGRAM…
Macy’s has a loyalty rewards program called Star Rewards. The Star Rewards is a loyalty program offering special perks, savings, surprises, and more! They have different tiers as part of their program. If you become a Bronze member, you do not need to apply for their credit card. If you become a Silver, Gold or Platinum member, you’ll need to apply for their credit card.
You can enroll into their Star Rewards program in one of two ways:
- If you do not have a Macy’s Credit Card account, then you can enroll online, in-store, or over the phone and become a Bronze member of Star Rewards.
- You can apply for a Macy’s Credit Card Account and you will automatically be enrolled in Star Rewards as a Silver member (subject to credit approval). Existing cardholders are already enrolled in Star Rewards.
In a nutshell, you can become a Bronze level member without applying for their credit card. Then if you decided to apply for their credit card, you could unlock more benefits of the program based off of your spending habits.

Regardless on what level you become a Star Rewards program member, you’ll receive a birthday surprise. 🙂  All Star Rewards members will be sent a special surprise for their birthday. They will send you your birthday surprise during your birthday month!
